(Washington, DC) – According to a private, non-partisan firm, freshman Congressman Bill Sali is the 423th least effective member of the U.S. Congress. Walt Minnick, the Boise businessman working to unseat Sali in November, pointed to the rankings as further evidence that Idahoans need new representation in Washington DC.

“Congressman Sali has been so focused on his own personal, divisive agenda that he’s utterly failed to be an effective voice for Idaho,” said Minnick. “"You cannot get things done for Idaho in Congress with partisan bickering and name calling. We need a congressman who can work together with all sides to be effective for Idaho.”

The annual study was produced by Knowlegis, a political technology company based in Washington, DC. The news release is available here and the full Power Rankings are available here.
